The Future of R&D: WARDJet’s Utilization of Augmented Reality

Waterjet in augmented reality, scaled down to fit on a table

Here at WARDJet, we use something called “augmented reality” in order to get a realistic visualization of potential new products. This process projects virtual models of our waterjets into the surrounding environment, allowing the user to interact with full-size holograms of our cutting systems. This technology is useful in the research and development process because it allows the user to see the true size of the waterjet and how it will fit into a given space. The video below explains how augmented reality is beneficial to both our R&D team and our customers.
